I think there are two versions with the second skin. One with vents (Tropical Top) and one without. I hear the Trop Top is worth it. Don't know from personal experience though.

    Ha Ha, precisely!

I'm new to the Rover game and did not realize there was a "build plate". I will verify tomorrow the exact specs.

I know this truck has a standard top but is the whole purpose of the safari top just to keep the cab from baking in the sun? Is it a worthwhile upgrade or does it mostly look cool?

So why can't you just look at the build plate? Located on the drivers side inner door pillar? Is it missing?

I'm thinking 72 IIa now, but I still have to run the VIN. The truck is located in a top secret auxillary storage facility right now and I don't have immediate access to it. Here's a shot of the drivers side.
