Early II ?
I found this while skulking some back counrty roads. Looks like it could be in the African bush.
I'm guessing late 50s -early 60s. Horn is on a seperate colume. Has a 144...... serial #
Very straight truck. And the galy is decent.
Dig those jump seats and trop top!
I need another one of these like I need a hole in my head, but who can turn down a sweet spot light like that.Leave a comment:

Here's a 109 wagon with a 2.6 in RI near me. I haven't gotten any responses to several emails. If someone gets in touch let me know, you don't want that engine but I might. Price is right (maybe) at $2500

Dang! Two hours from the house, I'd love to rummage through the extra bits! If anyone on here wins these and would like help in picking them up, loading and what not, let me know. I would be glad to lend a hand and get to know some of the others in the community.Leave a comment:

To bad it is so far, as we are currently looking for old landy to save/restore
I talked to the owner on the phone last week. The Rover was still available. I was interested in buying it for the patina body but he told me it was in rough shape and needed patching. He sent me some pictures and it looks rough. It was driven in the Minnesota winters for at least 7 years by him. He said it would need a new chassis along with door frames/bulkhead repair. He had been patching the frame along the way and had replaced the rear section with a galvinized one. One front horn had rusted away and thats the reason the truck was parked he said.
By the looks of the photos, every Brimabrite panel has corrosion due to electrolysis. Only one can assume that the usual rusted areas are too far gone and would need to be replaced.
The last Minnesota truck (dodge) I purchased I swept most of it away from my garage floor. So much rust I had to take a loss and scrap it. The only body panel that was salvageable was the hood and not worth the $800 I paid for the truck. I'm going to hang on the the pictures I took from that dodge truck and the series 3 pictures as a constant reminder not to drive my rig during the winter months.
Still this Series 3 might be a decent parts rig for someone close by. He was asking $800 oboLeave a comment:
