I've tried contacting him but no response. Has anyone else had any success or failures?

Nice pics Jim. The islands are loaded with neglected "children". A guy on Tortola has 2 90s, and one is his goat's house, the other a chicken coop. A few years ago, there was an island cleanup of derelicts, and several Land Rovers went to sea, never to return.

For just a dollar a day, the cost of a cup of coffee, you can be the proud sponsor of a 110 that desperately needs your help.

Welcome back to the North Jim! Thanks for sharing the pics.It breaks my heart to see all those Defenders wasting away.I'm sure this and other sites have many wanting parents longing to adopt a neglected rover out of poverty.Too bad the adoption red tape is so complicated.

I ran the site through Babel Fish. Translation came out just fine. Basically, the Centaur was found in Iraq in 2005, and brought back to England by a collector. I know they had alot of problems, but I still love those Centaurs. Glad someone is saving it. Good find.

In looking at pics of the mighty mite (great truck by the way), I came across this site below.

Low and behold, there are afew shots of rovers. Including 1 half-track from Iraq and another with an artillery gun mounted on it. Unreal.

I don't speak spanish, so no idea on the descriptions.

Doubling up on my posts, realized I had some other pics of a couple of Series III's from a friends farm in WV. He's got quite the collection, both inside and out...gathering dust (rust) in addition to the Rovers are a couple of Volvo 1800's, of which I own a few as well.

If anyone in WV is interested in rescuing these let me know...not sure if he'd every part with them, but I'd sure like to try for someone that had the time.

that jeep looked like it had more value than the rover as it looked like an oddball model.
