You must have more guts and talent than I do. I had the same idea and created many mental designs. However, I had the feeling that my sunroof would eventually leak. But I love the idea.

Taking the radiator out is cheating!

Agreed! That's why it stayed in place. The fender was already off for the clutch/brake/steering box work. The pump passed a pressure test initially, but after sitting for 25 years, and a vinegar flush upon fire up, it gave up it's last legs and started to squirt.

Creative camera angling kept the radiator from view.

Replaced Front Hub Seal Race by building drill press jig to drill out race since pounding with cold chisel was not working well and risked damage to stub axel.Click image for larger version

Loaded the mini bike in the back of the truck and brought it in for a co-worker's nephew.

Replaced transmission mounts. Old diesel ones where Spongy. The left side mount nut only took 15 mins to get off flip flopping a wrench. 20 getting it back on since I didn't have a 17mm wrench or shallow socket.

Where can I get a short/shallow 17mm socket to make it easier next time?

When you say shallow 17mm socket, I believe every tool company makes those. Sounds like ratchet wrenches are in your future. Can you say Xmas in July?

I've got a set of these, I don't know what I waited so long getting them for. They're my pride and joy of my tool box, I love them.

I should be more specific, extra shallow. I have shallow and deep, but that nut on the mount is a bear. Sockets go on with a wiggle but drive can't get in there.

Only ones I can find are Snap-Ons and they are pricey.

Spent a few hours on the creeper draining engine, diff, tranny and transfer oil. And then, yes, filling them all back up again. Wondered why the hell the drain plugs and filler plugs are all different sizes.

Good fun watching my 1 year old play with wrenches on the driveway next to me. My daughter fixing my bike. Both of them riding on the creeper together. And my wife wondering what the hell she got into having a family with this greasy old guy.

Adjusted the parking brake too. I think that may be the first time I locked onto a drum brake adjuster on my Rover and had it work properly. I did a little dance....
