I'm pretty sure that my truck was equiped from the factory with it and I think it may have been a NA issue for the hazzard switch. Who knows? It does seem to add some support between the upper dash and lower tray, though. I just didn't like the layout with some switches facing away.

My '73 NAS 88 SerII is the same fitted from the factory. The vents always seems to allow enough air, but not knowing what a SerII flows like?
The S3 driver looses out due ot the inst. panel. In the "non-vented" ones as described here.. It seems odd they would have it flow directly up onto the windscreen? what good is that? Talbot
