It is a combination of the carb, fuel pickup getting clogged, and fuel filter getting clogged. Ive already dropped and cleaned the tank, just couldn't get everything out. So I try and change the fuel filter pretty often and clean it out that way. I will probably have to drop the tank again.I spent most of my money on women & cars, the rest of it I just wasted.......Comment

looks like you have the longer hold downs. They are mounted upside down. This was probably done that way because they are for a fatter tire/whell combo (usually military application) The typical ones that usually come with standard Rovers, are a bit shorter to accomodate a thinner tire. The idea is that the brackets sit level under the bolt.1965 109 2door hardtop (restored years ago)

The bolt is available from Paddock, Cradock, and others. RDS has had them. It is NOT a 1/2" USF bolt, it is 1/2" BSF, (16tpi) and the head is oversized, same as lugnuts, 1 1/16". It has a long shanks with an antivibration insert in the first few threads.
The Clamp has not been available for a while. I just sold a set last week, and only have one left, which I'm keeping. Lots of the parts people like Don Flye, will have them.
Years ago, I made up a couple dozen clamps and had them galvanized. It was essentially a Tee, made out of 5/16"x2" flat stock, had a tit on each end that fit into three lugnut holes, and had 2 holes that lined up with the two in the pie pan. It was way easier to use than the individual Z shaped LR clamps.Comment
