Anyone run a K&N filter that sits on top of the carb? Thinkin about it.

I have one. came on another rover i have. Put it on my 109 and was louder as said before, i liked it. It also gave me a little extra pep on the sand which was nice. I think it looks pretty neat too.1970 Series IIA 109 EX-MOD

Yank - what carb are you running? I ask because it may not fit your carb if its not a weber 34ich. If its not, measure the diameter of the top hole, go to the K&N site, find one that works, write down the part number and take it to your favorite big box auto store and they can order it for you.Comment

You may want to consider other options such as the AEM Brute Force Dryflow filter. http://www.aemintakes.com/dryflow_air_filters.htm

No need to worry about oiling a K&N on a Rover. There's usually enough oil vapor under the hood to do it automatically!Jason
