    fuel pump fittings

I'm about to buy a new mechanical fuel pump for my 2.25 petrol. Looking at the photos of the pumps, what are people using to connect the fuel lines to the pump? I see that our hosts sell the hose with fittings that are attached, but for the price of them, I think I am considering running traditional rubber fuel lines. If you are just fitting a hose barb fitting into the fuel pump, what is the thread I need to order?

I dont know if he still has them, but George (RDS) had the genuine ones for cheap a while ago. They look cleaner than a bunch of hose clamps.

Sender = fuel pump. The fuel pump sends fuel to the carb.
          So, the carb = receiver.

Uh, OK. So the tank is the sender, and the carb is the receiver, so the pump must be the repeater.
