    I just watched the news and they said that my town is estimated to get 11.3 inches of rain!!! Is that enough rain for the grass seed I put down on Tuesday?

    So funny. We actually performed each & EVERY one of these steps too. Only exception: I blindly reached into the gutter and grabbed a handful of yellow jacket nest (no hornets for me). Luckily, I was only stung once, but I've never moved that fast on a roof before!

    As my project car is in a fabric garage, it took the covering off and wrapped engine in tarp. From bulkhead back is exposed to the elements..... A precursor to the powerwashing I plan for next week prior to painting the frame (from bulkhead back). Hope the shower is good for it. At least I'll have the fabric structure after the storm.....

    Went out to the boat one last time, made sure the mooring was secure and pulled out the inflatable with the ambulance, ready to go back in when this all passes
