Im in the Mountains of VT. I just filled all the tanks on the Rovers. Backed the 109 and 110 into the garage, and put the Lightweight into the barn. Hopping every one stays safe! this will make for a great picture thread in the end.

I'm down with Gunny on this one. I will be drinking beer AND sanding / repainting my Rocky Mountain door tops - the final step of my repaint project. Between the beer and the paint fumes I expect to do a "quality" job.

I broke into the hurricane survival kit last night, killed a mere 6 of 24. No plans to partake during the meat of the storm though. So far this morning we've lost power for a couple hours, there's a tree down in back near my shelter logic shed, the yard is a mess with somewhat small branches(it'll give the kids something to do), most of my neithbor's dirt driveway is now floating down the street creating a new sand bar....

Well just lost power again so I'm on the windows phone. Had to charge this, this morning.
Might have to break into my emergency survival kit as well. Hmmm

Quite curious to see how your tent holds up........

I elected to take down the Costco tent housing my project....... the exposed frame (from firewall back is getting a natural powerwash.

                        good luck.

Just winched a huge tree out of the street. Neighbors are cutting it up.

kinda jealous of those experiencing actual weather! it's way too hot here today in pasadena, supposed to be about 108 with the heat index this afternoon. even with my door tops off, I probably wont' be driving the rover since it's like sitting in an oven anyway. stay safe friends, and post some pictures

It actually does quite well. I put it up 3 years ago when we turned the garage into a family room. No issues from the storm. It held up well with all the snow we accumulated last winter. Only issue I've had is a branch went through the top last year and had to patch it. It's very warm inside, even in the winter so it doubles as the Hilton Hotel for mice though.....
It is what it is, as long as you understand that you'll be satisfied with it.

We lost power a second time yesterday morning and it finally came back on at 3:00am. The street looks like a tornado went down it. Branches, limbs and leaves every where. No water in the house and no trees on the house so that's what matters. My kids and I did our good deed yesterday. When the power went down we bailed out our elderly neighbor's sump hole. Her son was finally able to find a generator to power the pump but I'm a little sore.....might have to medicate with the rest of the hurricane survival kit this weekend.
