Should you still have spark with the MAF not hooked up?

Mr. Thompson - good to hear you can reach us from the great beyond... Yes, you can still have spark if you remove/disconnect the MAF. MAF is intake related for fuel/air mixture and won't affect the spark, or lack thereof.

I just didn't know how the ECU would act with out any air. I got spark back in the ole' girl however I still have a wicked misfire at random times. I am going to order a LR dist. cap and coil as well as get a set of good wires.

What is the best way to put a fuel pressure guage in-line?

Thanks for the help getting this Classic whipped back in shape.

most tap into the schrader valve at the end of the fuel rail...

As for the misfire, your ordered items, plus a rotor and fresh, gapped, plugs will make a huge difference as these cars are very sensitive to weak ignition components. Good luck!
