        Thanks KevinNY,

The tires on the 109 are 235-85-16 Federal Couragia M/T on Disco steelies. I don't have any real data on how well they perform in mud or soft terrain. Link to Federal's web site:

            Thanks.

What are the spheres on shafts in the right dash area? Never seen anything like that.

                  Snow day!!!

We finally got our first big snow of the year - only about 10" here though. Going out tomorrow to plow through some back roads.

To me, nothing says "Land Rover" more than a 109 5 door.

Taken Yesterday, 6 inches of snow and about zero degrees. At least she starts right away. This one has a fairey overdrive, locking hubs, etc. My only issue at the moment is the windscreen wipers will not work. 1973 Series III.

Finally after about 8 months and a lot of money and more time than I should have in anything its fully worked over, 100% operational, and 100% mechanically restored... Its perfect. Frame is in good nic also

Thanks for the people on the forum and RN for supplying good quality parts.

1980 w/ RN parabolics, full safari setup, way to much money in parts and fantastic.
