That sounds better, especially for winter camping. =)

        Hey,

My name is John McKelvey. I'm new to this forum so I thought I would post some pictures of my rovers.

            Early Morning on Vancouver Island

Saturday was forecast for NO RAIN!!! That's a big deal here these days. So I headed up the west coast of the island to catch the sun rise. It was EARLY when I got on the road but it was worth it.

            I liked this shot...

And the sunrise was pretty nice too...

Dave, I've seen someone's flickr account of some of the rover events in Vancouver Island...Very Jealous!

I'm trying to talk the fiancee into spending the honeymoon there...

I personally love the sillouette of a Landrover in nature during a sunset...It just seems right

These are from when I was stationed in Hawaii. I loved going topless. Even with a Mansfield under the hood, I don't think i could go topless here in CT.

nice series III. do you work in Groton? I have seen your rig coming over the gold star bridge in the morning (7-ish), I was going the opposite direction on my way to school. The next day on my return home i saw your rig again... also going the opposite direction hahaha.

I take my top off from march till late october early november. We have nice summers here in CT.

I do work in Groton and around 7 is usually the time I'm going over the gold star. I was stationed here for 3 years prior to this 6 month stint so I knew what kind of weather to expect. I actually lived in Mystic back in '03-'05 but didn't have the rover sickness at the time.
