My IIA 88"
G'day All,
my first post on this board - you have a great site going here, heaps of great info. It's great to see so many landy's getting such good treatment.
Here's mine - a previous owner has done a great job of refurbishing but there are plenty of non-standard bits that will eventually go away. I've been collecting parts for about 3 years and will soon start on reversing some of the mods. It's a ute (pickup I think you would say) but I really like the full canvas tilt option - I'm about to fit that up and see how it goes.
Cheers,

Just thought I would throw a few pics up of my Lightweight. Since I bought it this winter, I've stripped the military paint and resprayed in Etch primer. I'll be taking the Lightweight apart this winter to begin it's frame-off restoration. In the meantime, I'm enjoying it immensely.1979 Land Rover Half-Ton GSComment

Here's some few recent shots from this weekend. I'm pretty much done for now with appearance / accessory upgrades. Only thing left is a roof rack, back bench seats, & parapolics. She's running strong now after a new carb.....and even stops safely afer new cylinders and lines two weeks ago.Comment
