Its vinyl. The headliner is cream colored thick vinyl. After a closer look it is customed. Whomever did the work was a pro but some of the finishing details are not perfect. It has been repainted(overspray) maybe it was "restored" and then left to sit.

Someone went through some great effort with that interior. Thanks for posting.

I believe that has to be some old after market interior, NelsAnderson, a fellow board member has the same style in his series IIA 109

i must know... is that salt or fresh water? that's a great photo, but if its salt, think of the potential damage!

*nvrmnd. i read on... what a relief.

Really? I must have missed it for all the cool radio equipment mounted throughout his 109.

Some of mine from Africa, 2001

A few pics of my truck in Africa in '01.

Rovers North was a sponsor of that trip (and good thing too!)

If that's the same Series Rover trip to Africa that I think it is, it looked pretty fun, from what I saw on youtube. Of course, I can't seem to locate the video now...

EDIT...Oh here it is (I don't seem to know how to embed the youtube video).

Jim, every few weeks I'll throw on those videos. What an awesome time that must have been. It must have been hot as hell in those Series rigs.

To coin a phrase: "It's a dry heat".

It is true however; it was well over 100 (outside) every day and quite comfortable for the most part.

I think it got as hot a 132 between the seats in my truck...

The adhesive holding my hiking boots together melted...
