I have been driving series lr's for 40 years, never needed and electric fuel pump, why do you? Just curious.

I love it... resist the urge to paint it! Series are one of the few vehicles I've seen that can pull it off, the character of the truck itself transcends matching/clean paint. Looks great!

Very helpful, thanks guys. Before I tore mine down I was using a Napa inline pump, which works well, but it is loud...loud enough to hear while driving.

Ted - If you don't mind, pics of your mounting would be appreciated.

Jason: Here is a shot of my 4070 - such as it is. I purchased the isolator kit that is supposed to cut down on noise and vibration - two rubber buffers attach the mounting bracket to a separate bracket that I attached to the front fuel tank outrigger. I don't recall if the isolator kit came with the bracket or if I fabbed it. Simple stuff, in any case.......

Almost finished the installation of my auxilliary battery and split charge system. Installed my left hand front tank and wired in the sender. Fabricated a bracket to mount my tank selector valve to the seatbox. A bit of sheet metal work to protect the battery and some fuel lines left to run. I will post photos tomorrow.
