I had time this morning, a beautiful sunny 40 degree morning in Bend, Oregon, gassed up Lady HOJ (the name my daughter gave to my 59 series II, Lady Hunk of Junk) and decided to make the drive from Bend to Mt. Bachelor to see how the snow accumulation is coming along.
Plus I just wanted to see if she would be able to make the trek up hill. Max speed up hill 50 mph, and minimum was 40 mph at one stretch, coming down I think I saw 60 mph. Temperature started out around 140 and reached 180, and then promptly came back down to 160 coming down the hill.
Overall she did a great job, and is now resting in the garage.Comment

I got the tropical top all disassembled. Have to have a little massaging done to the sun shield. When it came to the states, it had a rack on it. While unloading it from the container, the rack caught the container and did some damage to the sun shield. Wish I lived closer to Ike!
Other than that it is pretty straight!1973 SIII RHD 2.25 Petrol

While recuperating from knee surgery I got a lot done to the bulk head.
It was sand blasted, rust neutralized, POR 15'd, and used Eastwood's frame rust proofer on the interior areas, and sealed the seams.
I used some fiberglass (gasp!) to patch up a few small holes in the foot wells.
The green paint is the interior frame paint. i didnt win any awards for beauty on the seam sealing....
A few more things and it will be ready to put back on.First but gone: 91 3 door Disco "White Rhino"

A bit offroad
We did a family run on some local trails and decided to do a photo shoot. This was followed by some brake drama on the way home.1971 Ex Mod IIA 109

Brought all the warning lights back to life and generally improved the wiring. Now if only I could find the brown/black wire that feeds the horn. Where is that darn thing?____________________________
