The NADA 109 was officially a '67 model, although some were built in '66 (or '68 like mine)and registered as such. From what I know, all were built as negative ground, after the design change from positive ground. Any truck with a black dash from the factory (including the black vinyl wrapped NADA dash) is supposed to be negative earth. Body colour dash was standard for positive ground trucks. The plaque may or may not have made it on at the factory or a rad panel swap could have occurred as well, along with any number of changes made since leaving the factory 50 years ago.Leave a comment:

I assume this was for the full run of nadas (66-67)? I recently saw one with a plaque riveted to the radiator panel that said negative earth but mine doesn't have it, nor does another friend with a nada.
I will take your word for it.

The Fuel Pump should be mounted inboard starboard rail forward of the gas tank, under the floor. The Battery is mounted under the drivers seat. The original fuel pump was a dual pump.

Still need to know if the lines are 3/8 or 5/16 and on another note were these truck negative or positive earth?Leave a comment:

Couple of questions:
When I got my truck it had been sitting forever so I've done the normal things like pull the tank, radiator, etc. As I get deeper I noticed my original fuel pump is missing and there is a replacement pump sitting where the battery would normally go under the hood. There is one line coming in from the tank and one line going out to the fuel bowl/filter.
Since my tank has been refreshed, and I have a new sender, and pick up, I figure I might as well replace the line from the back and go back to the correct pump.
So here are my questions.
Diameter of fuel line that I should get (3/8 or 5/16)?
The original pump looks like it had two lines coming in and one going out. Is this correct? Where does the second line come from?
Any help is greatly appreciated.

I am the owner of #808. Not much left of the original 109. I have changed the frame, the bulkhead and put in an NA 2.25 diesel. Had the truck for 20 years, will mostly get it completed when I retire...Leave a comment:

Sweet! How's the interior? Looks like it needs refurbishment rather than complete restoration.Leave a comment:
