34300009A is now in its new home in North Florida. Thanks CliftonRover for the project!
Truck condition: Chassis is gone.... Evaluating the rest....pretty rough. The drivetrain looks original, intact and in relatively good shape. I may be interested in selling it if somebody is interested. I'll post a build thread as I start digging in.Leave a comment:

Vin 34300009 in Killingworth CT. Truck needs a full rebuild, that I don't currently have time for.
It's amazing to see how many of these are accounted for on here.Leave a comment:

Hello to all the 109 owners
I have 34300079A-the truck is original with a couple of up grades-parabolics and newer brake system and a roverdrive. Still have the 2.6 in her and getting some engine work done now- has some burnt exhaust valves. the truck has been driving around since i found her 8 years ago. The original list of all the 109's NADA ever made has 34300239 sold to churchill in 1966- my father ordered that truck and we picked it up in England when i was just a kid. if anyone knows where 239 is please let me know.

LRFAQ sez:I have found and purchased 34300272A. It's a blue LR that has been in storage since 1992. I am going to get it running and hope to bring it to one of the Field Meets in either Portland, OR or Bellevue WA next summer. I also joined Pacific Rovers Club and I am looking forward to attending their events.

Good Morning Jeff;
If you think you have Memory Problems now, when you reach your late 70's, you may, God Willing, be able to look back at your current memory problems with envy.
#285 began Production 8 August 1966 and was completed the following day. As you know it was painted Marine Blue and shipped to Rovers San Francisco.

thanks for the info, when i bought the truck it still had half the blue paint left, where it sat in the sun all those years was just bare metal. I did get the original sales document from Land Rover of San Francisco which was kinda cool.

FYI. According to the Production Records that I downloaded some years back, 283 began production 2 September 1966 and production was completed 5 September 1966. Original Color was Marine Blue and it was shipped to Rover San Francisco.

Found # 283 in New Mexico, it had been sitting since 89, under a coating of mud that refused to come off was a rust free beauty. Ended up with a 5.3 vortec mated to a nv4500, roam disk brakes, Detroit locker and a mess of other stuff I hope my wife never asks about. Oh and about a year in the shop every spare moment. Now living in Tahoe and Reno.
