Got my home-built rack and rock sliders back from the galvanizing shop. New rooftop tent installed, and I couldn't be happier with the results. Just about ready for my first long trip.

    I painted it

I still need to do the door tops and tailgate though. I ran out of sunlight.

Rob, 3 out of 4 passing lol, don't worry about the last one. You try to swap out the hazards switch?

Put a "new" deluxe bonnet on, after painting the inside a nice rustoleum gloss black on all steel members, with the rubber bumpers for the tires, hinges and catch...thanks to my mate Neil for a smoking deal...

Coming together - now on to the engine - gotta drain tank, replace spark plugs, "prime" it, then see if she starts after sitting for 7 years in a field

Oil/Filter change and swapped over to new PL1029 starter. Starter clearly superior to OEM, at least for now! Nice to have fresh exhaust w/fasteners, easy to remove front pipe- necessary to make job a bit easier!

Anyone have some pictures of their 109 with a pick-up cab?
I think I have some of mine in one of the photo links in my signature.

Well then, our trucks are now in about the same state of disassembly! Waiting for the shop to call me with my fresh head so I can put mine back together.
