What did you do to your Rover today?

Removal of the wheel was easier than I expected. Hmm...tips: after removing the horn button, and the collar bolt, spray WD40 inside where the wheel goes onto the column, use the penetrating ol when putting it back too. before you remove the old wheel mark where the bottom of the wheel is on the column with masking tape.Comment

After removing the bolt, gently tap a screw driver into the slot to wedge it apart (slightly) it should wiggle off. When you replace it make sure it seats back down so the bolt grove lines up with the bolt. This would also be a good time to find the center of the steering box and realign the steering wheel accordinly.Sean

Finally finished my Roverdrive installation, which spanned several days and too many hours to mention due to some unforseen circumstances.
Went out for a 30 mile drive on the highway and cruised comfortably at about 65 mph. I've had Fairey ODs in my other Rovers, and all I can say is Man, this thing is quiet! I actually passed 7 cars on the highway. And, no, none of them were broken down on the side of the road. Having the Roverdrive only makes me want more power!Comment
