Ok, just realized my overdrive has been in the forward position for a while. I assume this mean it is engaged, I have never used it so how do I disengage it?
Also to fill the unit with oil is the filler hole on the top. I installed a cubby box so I will have to fill it when I am underneath.
Thanks, Brett1968 Series IIa 88 w/ hardtop - SOLD

if it's just sitting there then just pull the leaver straight back. the clutch may help. if you're rolling along then engage clutch pull leaver back. with the o/d disengaged you should notice an increase zippiness. note there is 3 positions for the o/d leaver. back disengaged, forward engaged, middle neutral no go everything just spins. i found this out once after messing with clutch hydraulics thinking the clutch was stuck. turns out i just bumped the leaver while getting junk out'64 Series IIA 88 Canvas Tilt
