Thanks for the offer. I'm working on trying to find a vehicle that I will actually use, so I can really participate. At least that's my plan. I think I'm going coil-sprung this time around.

    Tree pick up

Swapped out the front drive shaft and fixed the leak in my front diff. Then I did the same as NC_Mule, snagged a few christmas trees for the house! Sorry for the dark pictures.

Next time I have a group going out in CT I'll drop you a pm, I always have extra seats, or an extra truck you can borrow.

UPS the brown santa dropped off the new disco rad and intercooler for the 200 TDI conversion so hopefully it will get done soon so I can get back to driving the Red Rover, As a side note the wife and daughter gave me what they called a red Rover tree ordament for the Christmas tree. I put it up near the top just below the Angel. Best of the season to all.

Started the reassembly without completing the work I was doing on it, the wife's car(Suzuki XL7) is in the shop with a blown diff, and they can't find the replacement, they think they'll have to send to Japan for the part, so it looks like it's finally going into DD mode too.

I shot mine into DD status today, My wife's Audi lost the alternator, so she confiscated my regular ride and said "you can just drive the thing!"

Name calling or whatever, it is more reliable than a modern car.

I was looking at bringatrailer today Jac, and saw your rover. (searching old posts). After reading the post, and then this update, it doesn't phase me in the least that you put it up for winter!

Jim, here is the Warthog with the top I purchased from you. I think it will look better once I get to body painted to match the truck cab
