Some quick NADA questions since I'm stuck at work and can't look at the truck. For the last 15 years or so, I'd guess my Rover has only been driven a few miles at a time, a few times a month. Yesterday, I got it almost to highway speed. It couldn't sustain 60. The carb started popping as if it was running lean/low on fuel. Does the 2.6L have a fuel filter? Where is it? Is it cleanable or does it get replaced? I hope it'll also help the pinging under load, but likely not- I'm afraid there may be oil build up on the pistons/valves, plus I haven't verified the timing.
Also-How do you turn the heat on? The knob on the firewall says 'r heater', I can't make out any other words. [And yes I have low expectations of 'heat']

The original 1967 panels are black, not color matched to the interior. One of the guys on another Land Rover forum started a registry of the 500 NAS 110 trucks that were produced. I think they have accounted for about 50 or 60 of the trucks thus far.
I would like to attempt to make a similar registry for the Land Rover 109 NADA (North American Dollar Area) 6 cylinder trucks produced for 1967 since there are only 811. All the NADA trucks should have a VIN# 34300001 thru 34300811. The last 3 digits is the # of your truck within the 811.
[If you have or know where a particular 109 NADA truck is located, please respond to this posting with your trucks #, where it is located, and any other information you care to share. I will compile a spreadsheet with the information provided.

Good Morning Andrew; Welcome to the Club! According to the Production Records that I downloaded some years back, 785 began production 26 Aug 1968 and was completed 30 August 1968. It was painted Limestone and shipped to Leyland, Vancouver. A number of late production units were shipped to that destination. The other unit you have may be among these. Every unit subsequent to 724 was shipped to a Canadian Dealer. The units no longer met pollution standards in the US.

It was painted Limestone and shipped to Leyland, Vancouver. A number of late production units were shipped to that destination. The other unit you have may be among these. Every unit subsequent to 724 was shipped to a Canadian Dealer. The units no longer met pollution standards in the US.
