Finished installing & adjusting clutch pedal tower w/new clutch master cylinder (new slave cylinder & flex line installed the last few mornings). And... the old solid pipes I installed leak at the fittings. Doh! New I was asking for trouble trying to re-use those.

Bummer as I was hoping to have it moving under its own power before taking it to Taylor to look at for bulkhead repairs (footwells rusted out after leaving it sit the last year+) and such as I'm on a time crunch.

Took PHYDXO down to the wash-rack, snows have cleared for a few days, and washed it.....then I took time to dry the points and aggriavted the Chevy driver waiting behind me. Guess folks have forgotten about points and distributors getting wet among other things.

          seen.

It was a temporary fix. I hate the new WD cans anyway and would have used better stuff if i wasn't so lazy to get some. Im probably going to remove the starter this weekend and clean it up real nice

Post up how this does for you.
Also - did you install it or did GBR do a complete axle job for you?

Yeah, you'll like it A LOT. Been loving my Salisbury + Detroit for 10 years.

Just FYI, make sure both rear tires have the same air pressure. This will prevent issues for you.

For my rover, looks like my situation has changed and a rover drive is now in the cards . Also I will try to get the rear axle gears reset. I've got about a 1/4 turn play in the gears. My plan is to get both of my axles in top condition. This will be the first step.

The front axle, however, will require A LOT more attention then just a simple gear reset

Hub seal on the right front. Tired of hitting the brakes and it swerving into oncoming traffic because of oil soaked shoes.
                      Repacked both wheel bearings.
Rebuilt all 4 brake cyl too.
New soft lines front and rear.
Installed electric fuel pump with relay triggered by coil.
                      Rebuilt PCV
                      Installed Optima Batt.
Installed nutserts in firewall to remount coil.
Lubed brake tower pivots so brakes return.
                      Cleaned pickup tubes' filter socks
and lastly dumped in some Seafoam.
Now taking it on a hundred mile test run!

Got my Salisbury in..Boy, didn't realize how wore out my rover axle was. sure is a lot quiter. Will be tested in 2 weeks. Trying to get the rear brakes to adjust out now.....Ordered 2 new drums. My rear shock still suck...kinda forgot about until now.. My parabolis spring kit came with the wrong shocks(Pro-Comp). I still am trying to find the correct shocks.

Go on British Pacific and get the shock numbers. Then order off of 4 wheel parts.

Installed the new custom front axle shaft from Moser with the 2522 CV joint. I'm gonna try and see how it works in place of the unobtainium Stage 1 CV joint.
